So, I really liked book one, liked Jack. Not so in this book. I still like Jack but I don't respect him. If I were his wife I would be his ex-wife so that he can fawn over all these other woman in his life without me hampering him. Oh wait. I would not have hampered him. Nothing stops Jack from salivating over woman. Not even being the president of the USA. Do not get me wrong, I am not sorry I bought the book but I will not be reading more in this series either.Product details

Love and Loyalty Seduction of Power A Presidential Crime and Romance Thriller Jack Canon American Destiny Book 2 eBook Greg Sandora Reviews
Women of the House doesn’t disappoint, much like, Jack Canon’s America Destiny, this book has the same sharp instinct, driving action, and political commentary. Jack Canon is set to be the next president; the drama doesn’t end there. It’s very interesting to see how the author weaves this tale. He pulls us in, and really takes us for a ride with this political thriller. You are warned, this book doesn’t slow down. There’s always a lot going on, and for active readers, it’s not an issue, but be warned if you don’t like constant high level pacing. I thought it helped keep my interest, it made the book fly by a lot quicker. There’s definitely an opinion to this book, but in a good way, the author shows us all the struggles that the president deals with, and what it causes him to do. Jack Canon became president with his firm ideals, and his American spirit, but will it stay strong in the face of all these other factors, people, and pressures? On top of the political thriller, you get Jack dealing with women, hence the title. He has his wife who he loves, but also his best friend and secretary, who is in love with him, and a few other beautiful women as well. Is this book realistic? Not completely, there are plot points that don’t feel as realistic as others, but overall, it’s a fiction, and it’s meant to be enjoyed. Did I enjoy this novel? Yes, I thought it was interesting, and a nice follow up to the first book. I’m not huge into political thrillers, but Greg’s story was written well, a little heavily detailed, but otherwise, very fun read.

Not much of a story line.
I just couldn't get into it. Maybe too much politics going on right now and I am tired of it. Sorry
I cannot even find the words to describe this book. Plot? None. Grammar and punctuation - abominable! Try a proofreader next time.
Just like in his first book, he needs to do a better job editing his book for spelling errors. It was worth the price but I don't think I'll buy any subsequent books because of the horrible editing.
I honestly do not even know where I should start with this book. First let me say that I DID NOT FINISH THE BOOK! This review is for the first 50% of the book. I started this book last night and with reading the blurb I figured that it would at least be decent and I wonder what President Jack will be fighting.
For me it seemed more like it was focused on the women such as what they wore, to their pretty pink toes, to how they fit just right into Jack's embrace.
After the first few pages of listening to Sandy who works with Jack talk about how his wife cut her hair and she can't believe it. And how did she go about doing it I wanted to pull my hair out. But I stuck with it and by the time I started reading about Jack's meeting in New York I just could not read anymore.
I love to like at least one character and hate the rest of 'em. But with this book I hated all the characters. Jack is a womanizer who I assume doesn't cheat on his wife sexually but more flirts with the girls. Which I think is wrong. All the woman seemed to just flirt with Jack and always rub up against him or whisper in his ear and it just became annoying. I understand that this book focuses on the women that all work in the White House with Jack and I think that would be a neat idea but it just became too much with how the women kept throwing themselves and learning about how tight their clothes are.
Now even though this book was not for me as I did not finish it, it may be one for you to enjoy. I just couldn't get into the book like I was hoping.
What inspires me is Greg's look into a world that can be very dark and secret and how he humanizes the players. Jack Canon is a man I would vote for President. We all know that any person, male or female, has to make tough decisions right or wrong for the greater good. Jack does, but he is able to be a rightous man with straying eyes that knows his boundries. He can love many, but only be in love with one. He treats women as treasures. He values their beauty. More importantly, he values their insight, thoughts, suggestions with respect. He is a true friend to many and but uses his position when he needs to. The writing is very descriptive and lets you watch the movie as you read because you will know the characters intimately. As I finished the first book, I could barely stand the wait. The wait is over and Jack is back. This is a mini series in the makings.
Do not get me wrong, I am not sorry I bought the book but I will not be reading more in this series either.
